If you’re new to the medium, blackout poetry is the art of removing words from an existing text to create an original work. Participants will learn techniques for finding and combining meaningful phrases, create one to three poems, and decorate their new work with craft supplies. There will be plenty of chatter and laughter throughout the evening as participants share their new creations, which are sometimes profound or profoundly silly.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe’ll provide pages for you to black out, as well as craft supplies (markers, stickers, tape, flowers, colored paper, and trinkets).
