Collection: Between Us

From Here to Sunday presents

Between Us
group exhibition

March 14 - April 12, 2026

Between Us is a group exhibition that focuses on fiber works exploring the Red String Theory from East Asian mythology.

While this philosophy proposes that our fates are intertwined, connected with an invisible thread, the many layers of history that bind us sometimes become an obstacle, leading to a frayed relationship. With so many things dividing us in this current moment, how can we go about mending these differences to come back together? Are we able to sever the threads that no longer serve us, and can we break generational patterns we are tied to? Between Us is an invitation to sit with these questions and reflect on all the ways we find connection in an increasingly entangled world.

The emphasis on fiber is to capture the invisible in a way that is both tactile and layered. A single thread by itself may lack purpose, but the warp and weft of many threads together remind us that we need each other to make us whole.
