Carrying the Running-Aways

Carrying the Running-Aways is a celebration of life in the midst of death and tragedy. Experimenting with four fundamental ideas of AfricanBlack Bushcraft, Bee uses acts of survivalism of the past and adapts them to the present: Physical, Land, Ritual, and Practice. The artist expresses, "I am made up of all things Physical; through Land I am free; through Ritual, I nurse and educate my soul, and with Practice, I evolve.
