Led by artist Alitha Alford, this abstract and intuitive paint-and-sip workshop offers participants a peaceful, healing space to decompress and creatively express themselves. Designed for those seeking a retreat from the high energy of daily life, this experience allows individuals to reconnect with their inner child, forge new friendships, and create artwork they can feel proud of. The workshop provides a welcoming and imaginative environment for all skill levels—from beginners to advanced artists.
All materials and beverages are included.

This workshop is designed to inspire self-expression, foster connection, and provide a moment of calm through color and creativity. Whether you’re a first-time painter or an experienced artist, all are welcome.

Alitha A. Alford (she/her) is a mixed media collage artist and acrylic painter based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. An Asian American and multi-racial creative, her vibrant, eclectic work blends abstraction, sculptural painting, and digital collage to explore themes of healing, unity, and social awareness. Alitha is a cofounder of The Tsismosas Art Collective, an all-female, Pinay-led art collective founded in NYC in 2022. For the past four years, she has been an active member of both Arts Gowanus and The Brooklyn Art Cluster Collective. Rooted in movement and layered storytelling, Alitha’s art invites reflection on both personal and collective identity, particularly within multi-racial and indigenous communities.
