Cassandra Balbas: Bloomed from Doubt

A still-life of flowers I received during my 30th birthday. I remember entering that decade questioning if whether or not I had done enough or made the most of my time. I drew this during an art working session with a friend and mentor. After nearly giving up on it midway, he encouraged me to keep going. The process reminded me that, like humanlife, we need to allow our artwork to age and grow through the puberty stage to fully blossom. All good things take time; trust that you're exactly where you're meant to be.
