Join us for a 2-hour therapeutic evening of weaving your plastic waste into your own wall art with sayo from @needsaiii!

They will dive into the basics of tapestry weaving including making an easy DIY loom, setting up a loom, transforming plastic waste into strips of material, and different weaving techniques before weaving away - with hands on support as needed! Leave the workshop with a one-of-a-kind decorative woven wall hanging and the know-how to continue exploring.

This class is designed for beginners - so all are welcomed! Materials/tools + beverages included and each participant will get to take home their cardboard loom to continue weaving with waste!

Please collect and bring clean plastic packaging waste to repurpose - plastic bottles, bags, caps, strings, nets, used but clean saran wrap, etc - more the merrier! If we don’t end up using it, it can be repurposed for future workshops!

😷 Masks are STRONGLY PREFERRED in our space 😷
We have free masks for you, but prefer that you bring your own to reduce waste.

* Should you require masking at this event, please let us know by leaving a note at checkout. We are happy to require masking, as well as provide masks, upon request.
