You're invited to slow down and reconnect through calligraphy and snail mail with Quietude Studio!
Wendy will guide you step-by-step through the basics of modern brush calligraphy. Each attendee will learn foundational strokes, practice lettering techniques, address an envelope and write a handwritten note ready to send to a friend or loved one.
No experience needed — beginners welcome!
All supplies will be provided, including a Calligraphy Exemplar, brush marker, practice paper, envelope, postage stamp and a special Quietude Studio sticker. Just bring yourself! If you have a favorite piece of stationery or a card you've been meaning to send, feel free to bring that along too.
Complimentary light snacks included.
This workshop is for folks 18+ years.

Quietude Studio was founded in 2024 by Wendy, an Asian American Designer. Quietude Studio is a creative space dedicated to fostering curiosity, simplicity, and mindfulness.
Drawing on her background in calligraphy, lettering, and graphic design, Wendy designs a variety of products including greeting cards, stickers, and tea towels.
