☆ Leave the workshop with a one-of-a-kind decorative woven wall hanging

This class is designed for beginners - so all are welcomed! Materials/tools + beverages included and each participant will get to take home their cardboard loom to continue weaving with waste!

Please collect and bring clean plastic packaging waste to repurpose - plastic bottles, bags, caps, strings, nets, used but clean saran wrap, etc - more the merrier! if we don’t end up using it, it can be repurposed for future workshops!


😷 Masks are STRONGLY PREFERRED in our space 😷
We have free masks for you, but prefer that you bring your own to reduce waste.

Born and raised in North Jersey, sayo (they/them) builds interactive human-centered creations and experiences. They have hosted ceramics hand-building, recycled paper making, and other fun workshops for small groups. Most recently, they have been planning workshops to collectively reimagine the future of how waste can fulfill human needs.
